Well, in just over a week from now I will be venturing north to Dallas to meet up with my Hatchet Sisters, Lady Fran and Lady Jocelyn and we move on to Muskogee! There we shall be meeting up with another dear Hatchet Sister, Lady RedFox and dear friend Master MacGowan. Such a flurry of activity with emails, phone calls and so on for the preparations! I of course can't do a road trip without good tunes so I've been compiling tons of mp3 files. I think that department is covered :) Now I need to make my list of necessities and check it twice...let's see.... rum, loki, rum, loki....yep it's all covered!
I also finalized plans to be back at Scarby for Memorial Weekend! Yay! I just couldn't let that faire close without me, lol! Not only is it a big weekend for faire but it is also my friend Summer's birthday so I am sure a few toasts and much merriment will be had by all! Gee. if it being the last weekend of faire wasn't reason enough to have a toast or two, then add a birthday on top of that.... yeah, it's gonna be crazy!
Just a few more days and I'm off to Scarby for a second visit and will be accompanied by my dear sister Lady Francesca. I have a mental list of things I would like to do this Saturday, but I will be flexible and see what adventures the winds cast our way.
A few weeks after this Scarby visit, a few of my Hatchet Sisters and I will be gathering in Muskogee! Sir Aidden and Master MacGowan are really in for trouble when we see them there, poor fellas... Lord Sturm now has a new cheering section for his jousting debut at Muskogee... poor fella... and we will be merrily dining at the King's Feaste while there... hhhmm....yeah, the King will probably be a "poor fella" once he experiences our visit as well, lol!
The World is the final card of the Major Arcana, and as such represents saturnian energies, time, and completion.
The World card pictures a dancer in a Yoni (sometimes made of laurel leaves). The Yoni symbolizes the great Mother, the cervix through which everything is born, and also the doorway to the next life after death. It is indicative of a complete circle. Everything is finally coming together, successfully and at last. You will get that Ph.D. you've been working for years to complete, graduate at long last, marry after a long engagement, or finish that huge project. This card is not for little ends, but for big ones, important ones, ones that come with well earned cheers and acknowledgements. Your hard work, knowledge, wisdom, patience, etc, will absolutely pay-off; you've done everything right.
I am going absolutely bonkers! Scarby opens next weekend and I can't wait! This will be my first visit to Scarby and I will have the honor of Lady Francesca being my tour guide! I hope I can stay sane until then.....
Yes, you read the title correctly! While at the rodeo for St. Paddy's Day (for what could be more Irish, lol) my six year old son decided he would sign up for an event called Mutton Bustin'. This is a ride on the back of a sheep, holding on with all you've got for six seconds! I suppose he will be wanting to ride bulls next season! Yikes! More pics in the Mutton Bustin' gallery!
