A Hatchet Gathering
I must travel to Missouri next week on business; so of course I am taking advantage of the trip to take and extra day and spend time with some of my Hatchet Sisters in Kansas City! I am so excited to see everyone! I am sure lots of photos will be taken and I will post as soon as I get back!
Cheers to all!
Muskogee and the Kissing Coupons....
I must say that Muskogee is now one of my favorite faires to visit! The journey was filled with fun and laughter and of course what would you expect from three crazy Hatchet Sisters on the road together!
As soon as we settled in at the hotel on Friday, we went and met up with Mistress Redfox, Master James and Lord Sturm at the campgrounds. Lady Francesca was the hit of the camp with her wonderful grilled chicken, (as I expected) and we had a wonderful time meeting and exchanging stories with everyone! Lady Jocelyn was as charming and beautiful as ever and I am so glad she was able to journey with us! Mistress Redfox has three lifelong friends in us to be sure!
The day at faire was superb! Mistress Redfox had the wonderful idea to make and hand out 'kissing coupons' to be redeemed with the oh so handsome Master James and we of course had to 'redeem' those coupons quite often, lol! Vixen and Jack renewed their vows but alas I did not arrive in time to witness the event :( I showed up just when the ceremony ended and I was most disappointed! So, I expect a copy of the video!!!
We had the best time watching Lord Sturm, a.k.a. Wolfie, joust and he was so dashing as he played his guitar for us before the Kings Feast! The feast was wonderful! We had the best wench serving us and there was a friar that visited me quite often wanting to 'guide' me away from my pirating sins ; ) but a pirate I shall always be!
Even with all of the grown up fun and frivolity of faire, there was one moment in time that will be a favorite memory and that is when I heard this wee, delicate little voice behind me say 'hello pirate' and I turned around and beheld the face of the most adorable little lass looking up at me with wonder and awe. She was ready to join my crew and a fine little pirate she would make! You just have to love the little ones!
Plans are already in the works to attend the ball at Muskogee next season and I look forward to it with a smile on my face!
I hope to have pictures posted soon, but I must prepare for my journey to Missouri to earn my coin so I can afford to venture to Scarby this weekend, lol!
Damn.... I always get stuck with the good lookin' ones.....
