Well, Dame Fortune has decided I need a new challenge.  I received word last week that my employer has found it necessary to act upon a 'reduction in work force' and I drew a short stick.  Totally bummed.... I really liked that job.

So, now I find myself out there pounding the pavements to find a new source of income.  I also find myself at a crossroads, not sure what it is I want to be when I grow up, lol.  Something will come up though, if at least to keep a steady source of cash flow coming in until I decide what I would like to do.

This of course means that I will not be attending KCRF at all this year, another bummer.  I was really looking forward to seeing my Hatchet Sisters once more.

As they say... everything happens for a reason.  I suppose I will find out what those reasons are sooner or later.

Hello my faire friends!

Wow, I have been busy, busy, busy!  Work has taken over my life!  No faire!!!

I've been traveling quite a bit and working some wretched hours.  Even though technology is my bread and butter I sometimes loathe it.  I really need to 'unplug' and the best venue for that is faire.  Thank goodness KCRF is starting soon and I have something fun to look forward to!  I can't wait to see my Hatchet Sisters and friends that will be there.

I hope everyone is doing well and that you are all staying cool during this hot summer!

Counting the days until I can officially unplug....
